Betty Kandé did not study Fine Arts, but rather studied Law and International Business in Lille.
It was when she arrived in France that she started drawing because there was a painting workshop not far from the Lille II Law School.
He was important to Betty to master the fundamentals of the Art before being able to do what she wanted with it Actually. Subsequently, she lived in many countries : in Ivory Coast, in South Africa, in the United States and in Senegal but she always attended workshops in order to acquire new techniques.
His works show the beauty, the strength, the pride or even the identity of Africa. All these beautiful things and all these small free pleasures, like the view of a beautiful landscape that we would tend to neglect, not to be appreciated at its fair value or worse to be thrown into oblivion.
